deployments

What runs in staging for every app in platform-demo. The platform writes here, not people, and not the apps' own repos: a developer's repo holds only their app.

  • apps/<app>.yaml: the app's name and the image that runs, by digest. The shared pipeline writes it after each green build (the first build of a new app creates it). Argo CD keeps one application per file, running in the project <app>-staging.
  • chart/: how every app runs: the image, an address inside the cluster, a public HTTPS address <app>.apps.ocp.poc.logfab.cloud with its own Let's Encrypt certificate. A change here reaches every app.

To take an app off the platform, delete its file in apps/. Its project is kept; delete that with oc delete project <app>-staging.

Set up by ansible/hostup-platform-apps.yml in Logikfabriken/logfab.cloud (cluster/manifests-hostup/platform/).
